Location data: your US state, used to show au pairs near you.
User-generated content: messages sent to other users, community posts.
Verification documents: identity documents submitted for account verification (stored securely, visible only to admins).

To create and manage your account.
To connect you with other au pairs and host families.
To display your profile to other users of the app.
To send push notifications relevant to your activity.
To verify your identity and ensure user safety.

We do not sell your personal data. Your information is shared only:

With other AupairLife users as part of normal app functionality (profile, messages).
With Supabase (our backend provider) for secure data storage.
With Expo / Apple for app delivery and push notifications.

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at lucianabonnel7@gmail.com.

5. Children's Privacy

AupairLife is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a user is under 18, their account will be removed.
